About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate KS4 Teacher to join our team in a large SEN Secondary School catering for students aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students with complex needs, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Monitor, assess, and review student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to parents, staff, and external bodies.
  • Maintain professional development through ongoing training, research, and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Contribute to reviewing Statements and Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans, ensuring comprehensive support for students.
Requirements
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, demonstrating expertise in special education.
  • Experience working in a special school environment, particularly with SEMH students, showcasing ability to adapt teaching strategies.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Postgraduate diploma in Special Educational Needs (SEN), enhancing knowledge of SEND policy and practice.
  • Experience delivering differentiated curricula to students with diverse needs, promoting inclusive education.
Working Conditions

This role requires a driving license and access to a vehicle, with parking available on site. Teaching Personnel prioritizes the safety and security of all students and staff.
