SEN KS4 Teacher Position

Job Description: Part-time teaching position

Estimated Salary: £41,350 - £64,623 per annum (pro rata)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced KS4 Teacher to join our team in a large SEN Secondary School catering for students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs, focusing on social-emotional growth and academic achievement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Track student progress, providing regular feedback and reports to parents, staff, and external bodies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, exploring innovative approaches to special education.
  • Contribute to reviewing and developing EHC plans, ensuring comprehensive support for students.
Required Qualifications
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, demonstrating expertise in special education.
  • Experience working in a special school environment, particularly with SEMH students, showcasing flexibility in teaching strategies.
Work Environment

This role requires a driving license and access to a vehicle, with parking available on site. Teaching Personnel prioritizes student and staff safety and security.
