About the Role

Teaching Personnel seeks an experienced and passionate KS4 Teacher to work in a large SEN Secondary School catering for students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons to students with complex needs.
  • Monitor student progress, reporting to parents, staff, and external bodies as necessary.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in special education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to review and develop EHC plans, ensuring comprehensive support for students.
Essential Requirements
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, highlighting expertise in special education.
  • Experience working in a special school environment, particularly with SEMH students, demonstrating adaptability in teaching strategies.
