About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Reception Supervisor to join our team at the Tavistock Hotel, based in the heart of Bloomsbury, London. As a Reception Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, addressing any shortfalls in service quality and operating standards.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar operation, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Checking arrivals for the next day and 3 days in advance & checking the guests in/out, taking payments.
- Supporting staff through conflict resolution, effective time management, workload prioritisation and individual staff development.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes, contributing to a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, customer service and selling techniques.
- Providing support, information and guidance to new staff members to ensure they integrate and operate in accordance with company procedures and expectations as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
- Ensuring that all bookings are guaranteed and no-show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate.
