Role Summary

The role of the Traffic Clerk is to provide administrative support to the traffic teams, ensuring the accurate flow of information throughout the traffic and warehousing operations. This involves escalating issues where necessary and providing up-to-date delivery information to external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all traffic and warehousing operations are carried out in line with company procedures.
  • Support the on-road management of the traffic operation through communication and guidance.
  • Complete all required administrative tasks in accordance with company requirements.
  • Deal with customer and driver enquiries in a polite and effective manner.
  • Maximise fleet utilisation to achieve service level targets and KPIs.
  • Be IT literate with a high level of competence in Excel.
  • Deal with and escalate service complaints to ensure effective resolution for the customer and protect the company image and brand.
  • Have knowledge of warehousing operations.

Additional Information

It is preferred that you have previous experience in traffic, warehousing, or logistics operations and can demonstrate good local geographical knowledge.
