Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

Adecco Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement within the manufacturing processes and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct process audits to monitor compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements
* Coordinate and support focused improvement activities to reduce Cost of Quality and improve FPY (first pass yield)
* Prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for submission to Factory Manager
* Assist in reviewing and updating procedures and forms to support the Quality Management System
* Facilitate customer complaint investigations
* Work with supply chain on supplier corrective actions (SPPM)
* Oversee calibration of all measurement devices
* Facilitate audits from external regulatory bodies (e.g. ISO9001, BS, etc) and third party inspectors
* Facilitate Internal Non-conformance report reviews
* Support the effective roll-out of the MRB process
* Support any new product development introduction
* Undertake product First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)

Requirements:

* Quality / Engineering Qualification
* Knowledgeable on manufacturing processes and ability to find/develop engineered solutions
* Excellent communication skills, essential for both internal and external contacts with employees, customers, and suppliers
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
* Internal auditing experience
* Knowledge of problem-solving / engineering / continuous improvement processes (Lean manufacturing, 5Y, FMEA)
* Close attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Understanding of technical documentation
