Quality Engineer Opportunity

Adecco Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work for our client's manufacturing site based in the Lancaster area. This is a great opportunity to have a measurable impact on the business performance by demonstrating the highest standards of quality engineering and process control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct process audits to monitor compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and support focused improvement activities to reduce Cost of Quality and improve FPY (first pass yield)
  • Prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for submission to Factory Manager
  • Assist in reviewing and updating procedures and forms to support the Quality Management System
  • Facilitate customer complaint investigations
  • Facilitate audits from external regulatory bodies

Requirements:
  • Quality / Engineering Qualification
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
  • Knowledge of problem-solving / engineering / continuous improvement processes (Lean manufacturing, 5Y, FMEA)
