Adecco Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer on behalf of our client. This is a great opportunity to have a measurable impact on the business performance by demonstrating the highest standards of quality engineering and process control.

The Role:

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting process audits to monitor compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. You will also coordinate and support focused improvement activities to reduce Cost of Quality and improve FPY (first pass yield).

You will prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for submission to the Factory Manager and assist in reviewing and updating procedures and forms to support the Quality Management System.

Additionally, you will facilitate customer complaint investigations, work with the supply chain on supplier corrective actions (SPPM), and oversee calibration of all measurement devices.

You will also facilitate audits from external regulatory bodies and internal non-conformance report reviews, as well as continue the effective roll-out of the MRB process.

Requirements:

  1. Quality / Engineering Qualification
  2. Knowledgeable on manufacturing processes and ability to find/develop engineered solutions.
  3. Strong analytical skills
  4. Excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  5. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
  6. Internal auditing experience
  7. Knowledge of problem-solving / engineering / continuous improvement processes (Lean manufacturing, 5Y, FMEA)
  8. Close attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  9. Understanding of technical documentation
