Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at JustOT in South London. This role involves working with individuals who are visually impaired or blind, providing support with assessment, rehabilitation, and daily living skills.
About the Role
This position is responsible for:
- Supporting clients with visual impairments through assessments, advice, and guidance;
- Providing services that promote safety and independence for people with sensory impairments;
- Collaborating with Rehabilitation Officers for the Visually Impaired to develop and implement rehabilitation programs;
- Conducting specialist assessments of individuals with visual impairment in community settings and care homes;
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
