Senior Occupational Therapy Specialist

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team in East London. As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from those with complex physical disabilities to those requiring rehabilitation services.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct occupational therapy assessments, diagnoses, and treatments, ensuring that all clients receive the highest standard of care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate clinical records, participating in quality assurance activities, and developing training programs for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead occupational therapy teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Post-graduate level study/training in rehabilitation or related field.
  • Experience working with clients with mental health problems and cognitive impairments.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Estimated Salary: £57,000 - £62,500 per annum.
