Job Title: Sensory Support Assistant - Vision Impairment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced teaching assistant to join our team as a Sensory Support Assistant - Vision Impairment. The ideal candidate will have a recognised Braille qualification and prior experience of supporting visually impaired children and young people in a learning environment where Braille and pre-Braille were being used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support visually impaired children and young people in a learning environment
  • Provide Braille instruction and support
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote inclusion and empowerment
  • Contribute to the development of individual education plans

Requirements:

  • Recognised Braille qualification
