The Site Civil Engineer will play an integral part in delivering schemes to a high standard, on time and budget, working within the Keltbray Highways Business Unit and forming a part of the Operational team. This role requires an individual with excellent project management skills, knowledge of construction processes, and experience in ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

This opportunity offers the chance to work on a prestigious £1bn+ project, the A66 North Trans-Pennine project, delivered collaboratively with partners. As a key member of the site team, you will oversee project delivery, ensure compliance with construction drawings, and monitor subcontractor and supplier performance. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, learning and development opportunities, assistance and wellbeing support.

Salary: £60,000-£80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting out, levelling, and surveying the construction site
  • Ensuring compliance with construction drawings and recording variances
  • Overseeing quality control
  • Producing site diaries and allocation sheets
  • Keeping contemporary records
  • Reviewing Cl32 programme with the site team
  • Monitoring subcontractor and supplier performance
  • Attending weekly site meetings
  • Coordinating with the design manager to ensure design activities are aligned with the programme
