About the Role:

We are looking for a Proposal Development Manager to join our Rail business unit at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and submitting winning proposals to existing and prospective customers.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing complex bid submissions, including planning, production outputs for civil engineering works, and commissioning. A degree-level education or equivalent in a relevant field is required, along with previous senior-level involvement in work-winning and experience in managing significant bids.

As a member of our team, you will contribute effectively to a small team environment, leveraging results from staff outside of your own team. Our ideal candidate has a track record of delivering major projects, working in joint ventures and alliances, and using their judgment to make decisions in ambiguous situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and submit winning proposals to customers on time and within budget
  • Manage complex bid submissions, including planning, production outputs, and commissioning
  • Contribute effectively to a small team environment, leveraging results from staff outside of your own team
  • Deliver major projects, working in joint ventures and alliances
