Job Title: Civil Engineering Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Galldris Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of reinforced concrete structures, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the construction of reinforced concrete structures, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.
  • Undertake setting out and as-built surveys to ensure accurate construction.
  • Manage quality checksheets and onsite inspections to ensure compliance with company health, safety, and quality systems standards.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that design drawings, specifications, and setting out requirements are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identify and rectify any issues that may impact the programme or progress.

Requirements:

  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in Civil Engineering, with good technical knowledge of RC structures.
  • Knowledge of RC works, formwork, and working in high-profile, Tier 1 environments with attention to health, safety, environment, and quality.
  • Proficient in the use of setting out instruments, including Trimble or Leica EDMs & Laser Levels.
  • Computer literate, including MS Office, AutoCad, and cloud-based systems.
  • Good communication and people skills, with the ability to work under own initiative.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CSCS.
  • IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS, SSSTS, First Aider, Fire Marshall, IPAF (for MEWPs), HS2 inducted already, Fit for work medical (or safety-critical medical), TWS desirable.
