Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team at Galldris Group. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing engineering projects, ensuring that works are constructed to contract drawings, specifications, and plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management
    • Manage engineering projects from start to finish
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Engineering
    • Design and develop engineering solutions for construction projects
    • Ensure that engineering designs meet the required standards and regulations
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other team members
    • Ensure that all project information is accurately documented and communicated to relevant parties

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
    • Member of Institute of Civil Engineers or working towards (desirable)
  • Experience
    • Previous experience as Senior Engineer (or similar) for civil engineering contractor
    • Experience in reinforced concrete structures - heavy civils - bridges / structures / basements / tunnels / culverts / frames / tanks / formwork / falsework systems
  • Skills
    • Good communication, people, and team management skills
    • Ability to speak up on HSEQ matters and lead by example
    • Use of Fieldview / Dalux (or similar) web and mobile BIM software
