Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management
    • Manage the engineering aspects of projects, including design, construction, and testing.
    • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver projects.
    • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
    • Be able to design and develop engineering solutions to complex problems.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other team members.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standards.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications
    • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    • Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in project management.
    • Experience of working on large-scale construction projects.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of design software and construction methods.
