Autism Support Specialist for Independent Living

We are recruiting an experienced Autism Support Worker to join our team in Shrewsbury, supporting an individual with autism and Learning Disabilities living independently in their own home.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a candidate with the right skills and experience to provide high-quality support and care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Social care experience, ideally within Autism and Non Verbal individuals
  • Experience providing encouragement to a person with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities
  • Experience supporting individuals with behaviours which may be considered challenging
  • Experience implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments

You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
