**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced practitioner to lead our Safeguarding Children and Young People Team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality safeguarding service, providing expert advice and support to families and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rotate into the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) between Birmingham and Solihull and be part of a co-located multi-agency team including police officers, social workers, and other providers.
  • Participate in Contextual Safeguarding forums to inform case management of children at risk of exploitation advising partners on health issues and challenging decisions as appropriate.
  • Practice in accordance with the professional, ethical, and legal codes of the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and the trust's protocols, policies, and guidelines.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to develop skills and competence as a Children's Safeguarding Practitioner working in partnership with other health colleagues, the police, and social workers.
