Team Lead for Vulnerable Young People

We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals with emotional and behavioural disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage teams to deliver exceptional care and support services in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for working with young people with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, empathy, and understanding within the team to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required due to the nature of the role.
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable young people, including those with Autism and Learning Disabilities, is highly desirable.
  • Experience as a shift leader or similar role is also beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and external partners.

The selected applicant will undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau and complete safeguarding training to ensure the welfare of vulnerable adults/children is prioritized at all times.
