Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue through innovative bid proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of bid writers and support the conversion of new business through effective bid strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial growth plans.
- Source new business opportunities and maintain open communication channels with business development managers.
- Work collaboratively with departments across the business to ensure our business practices and methodologies are captured within proposed solutions.
- Compile a library of case studies and references in preparation for submissions and tailored responses.
- Manage timelines for all opportunities and highlight key dates and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in bid management.
- Industry experience in facilities management or construction preferred.
- Extensive Microsoft Office knowledge and proficiency in Indesign/Canva.
- Excellent attention to detail and diary management skills.
