Main Purpose of the Role

">

This Senior Physiotherapist will assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred rehabilitation programmes within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring continuity and consistency in the physical management of service users and demonstrate senior-level clinical, technical, and research skills through their breadth and depth of knowledge.

  • Develop individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans using analytical and investigative skills.
  • Promote choice and ensure the service user's experience is positive, encouraging them to raise concerns or complaints.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other health and social care professionals in the planning and delivery of care.
  • Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision.
  • Lead on the localised training plan to ensure staff are equipped to provide physiotherapy interventions.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

">
  • A Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy
  • Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Current membership with a professional body, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Membership in a specialist interest group (e.g., ACPIN or ACPOPC), or willingness to join
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
  • Experience working in a relevant setting
  • Demonstrable experience in using evidence-based practice and outcome measures
  • Skilled in physiotherapy assessments and interventions, with the ability to use complex clinical reasoning
