Main Purpose of the Role
">This Senior Physiotherapist will assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred rehabilitation programmes within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring continuity and consistency in the physical management of service users and demonstrate senior-level clinical, technical, and research skills through their breadth and depth of knowledge.
">- Develop individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans using analytical and investigative skills.
- Promote choice and ensure the service user's experience is positive, encouraging them to raise concerns or complaints.
- Liaise and collaborate with other health and social care professionals in the planning and delivery of care.
- Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision.
- Lead on the localised training plan to ensure staff are equipped to provide physiotherapy interventions.
About You
">The ideal candidate will possess:
">- A Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy
- Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Current membership with a professional body, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- Membership in a specialist interest group (e.g., ACPIN or ACPOPC), or willingness to join
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
- Experience working in a relevant setting
- Demonstrable experience in using evidence-based practice and outcome measures
- Skilled in physiotherapy assessments and interventions, with the ability to use complex clinical reasoning
