Trial Coordinator Lead

We are seeking a Trial Coordinator Lead to support the delivery of clinical trials and other research studies at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fixed term post until March 2026, providing backfill for an internal secondment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary activities, ensuring patient recruitment, education, and monitoring of trial patients, as well as data collection and documentation. They will work closely with local clinicians, clinical research teams, and R&D Manager to develop and maintain the research infrastructure.
This role requires strong leadership and organisational skills, ability to plan and coordinate activities, and excellent communication skills to provide research support and information to staff, patients, volunteers, and relatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong motivation to work within the field of clinical research, registered nurse, midwife, or allied healthcare professional qualifications, and experience of working with patients in clinical research.
