The University of Kent is seeking a highly skilled Residential Services Manager to oversee the standards in accommodation, ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting the needs of its diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Main liaison between Accommodation, Conference, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Health & Safety teams to ensure accommodation meets required standards.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints received by the Accommodation Office, proposing improvements to working methods to avoid future issues.
  • Take leading role in meetings and working groups relating to accommodation standards, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with Accommodation partners like UPP and Unite to ensure accommodation meets student and guest expectations.
Requirements:
  • Formal qualifications or relevant work experience in student accommodation management, hotel management, facilities management, or related field.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer systems including Microsoft Office software.

  • Estimated salary: £30,487 - £33,966 per annum.
