Residential Care Assistant Manager

Acorn Homes Group provides a range of residential care services for vulnerable children, including those with complex needs. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Care Assistant Manager.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £30,160 (£12.50 per hour) plus additional benefits. This figure includes 2 sleep shifts per week at an extra £40 each, increasing the total to £32,200 per annum.
About the Role:
In this key position, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, protection, and support to young people. Your primary goal will be to facilitate their physical, psychological, emotional, and recreational development in accordance with individual care plans.
As a Residential Care Assistant Manager, you will also play a crucial role in maintaining administrative records and contributing to a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative records in compliance with organizational policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they meet the required standards of care and support.
Requirements:
- Hold or be willing to achieve a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People.
- Have at least two years' experience working in a children's home.
- Be over the age of 21.
