Care Home Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to lead our care team at Lark View Care Home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead the care team to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality care services
- Assist residents with daily activities, prioritizing their dignity and independence
- Oversee medication management, maintaining accurate records and ensuring safe administration
- Foster effective communication among residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Collaborate with the team to promote a supportive environment and encourage diversity
- Welcome visitors and provide tours of our facilities
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, assessing and providing assistance as needed
- Document resident care plans, risk assessments, and case notes accurately
- Pursue ongoing professional development through training and e-learning opportunities
- Maintain awareness of Health and Safety policies, including COSHH, and report concerns to management
Requirements:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is essential
- Practical Medication Administration training with competencies required
- Proven leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop a team
- A kind, caring, and compassionate personality with a sense of fun and commitment to person-centred care
