Job Type: Guaranteed Hours - Seasonal (Fixed End Date)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team at Fright Nights, a thrilling event at Thorpe Park. As a Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bag checks and personal searches to maintain a safe environment
- Patrol the resort to identify and mitigate potential threats
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents
- Collaborate with the on-site First Aid team to ensure a smooth emergency response
- Participate in asset transfers and work closely with Surrey Police to reduce anti-social behaviour
Requirements:
- MUST have a valid SIA licence
- Must be over the age of 18
- Be able to use De-Escalation skills and conflict management in conjunction with SIA training
- Crowd management skills are essential
- Remain flexible with working hours
- Be approachable and confident
- Willing to drive standards
- Motivated to work closely with other departments
