The Job:

Deliver high-quality service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance services, for Unity Lab Services. Support our Chromatography, Molecular, Sample Preparation, and Discreet Industrial Analysers primarily across Scotland and North England, with occasional travel across the UK and Ireland service region.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of customer service resulting in customer happiness
  • Achieve high first-time fix rates and low mean time to repair
  • Ensure low repeated call rates

Requirements:

  • Background in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of experience servicing analytical equipment
  • Knowledge of UV-Vis/FTIR/Molecular, Liquid Chromatography, Ion Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Sample Preparation, or high throughput testing
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks with different priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, self-motivational, and negotiating skills
  • Proficient levels of PC literacy
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
