We are seeking a skilled and experienced physiotherapist to work as part of our dynamic paediatric orthopaedic out-patient physiotherapy team.


The out-patient service caters to children aged 0-18 with various musculoskeletal conditions, including CTEV treated with the Ponseti regime, DDH, and common growth conditions.


As a physiotherapist, you will work alongside an experienced team, including a band 7 and several band 6 staff, to provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to paediatric patients at Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust.


Key responsibilities include:


• Providing a high standard of Physiotherapy service to paediatric patients.


• Interpreting and analysing clinical and non-clinical facts to form accurate diagnoses and prognoses in a wide range of paediatric/orthopaedic conditions.


• Utilising clinical reasoning and treatment skills to formulate management and treatment programmes of care that are sensitive to individual values, cultural, and religious diversity.


• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation and communicating assessment and treatment results to the appropriate disciplines.


• Demonstrating awareness of Health and Safety aspects of work and implementing policies to improve work area safety.


• Providing advice, treatment options, teaching, and instruction to patients, relatives, carers, and other health and social care professionals.
