We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Genetic Counsellor to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Genetic Counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality genetic counselling and testing for a wide variety of conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide genetic counselling and testing for patients with genetic disorders
- Participate in our urgency rota to provide genetic counselling in demanding situations
- Work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver high-quality genetic services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in genetic medicine and apply this knowledge to your practice
