Genetic Counsellor

We are seeking an experienced Genetic Counsellor to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide high-quality genetic counselling and testing for a wide range of conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide genetic counselling and testing for patients with a variety of conditions
- Work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in our urgency rota to provide genetic counselling in demanding situations
- Contribute to the supervision and training of other staff members
- Eligible to Register with HCPC or GCRAB
- Experience in genetic counselling, case management
- Ability to work autonomously
- Evidence of excellent communication and counselling skills
- Experience in teaching and education
- Registered GC (including overseas GC Registration)
