Engineering Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Support Specialist - Radiological Protection to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Radiation Protection Engineer Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting RP Engineers in the design, planning, and review of products, technology, and processes.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing deliverables in support of a radiological protection programme for projects. This will involve creating documentation such as Radiological Risk Assessments, Radiological Design Documents, Critical Examinations, Dose Estimates, Local Rules, Contingency Plans, and Investigation Reports.
You will also be responsible for reviewing radiological monitoring data for operational packages of work and assisting with radioactive waste aspects of projects as required. Your ability to work effectively with projects and clients to solve complex and challenging problems will be essential in this role.
We offer a competitive salary package estimated at £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills through training and professional development programmes.
