Senior Wholesale Business Development Manager

About The Role
The Wholesale Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving business growth within our Wholesale division. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent Retail franchises in the south, developing effective strategies to deliver the agreed joint business plan, including forward promotion planning and seasonal range activation. Your key objective will be to achieve sales, volume, profit, and margin targets, ensuring that the franchisee represents the Morrisons brand effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing a sales and customer service strategy to achieve business targets, identifying opportunities for growth within the customer base and building a tailored service for wholesale own-brand customers.
- Developing innovative solutions for the wholesale customer and streamlining processes to achieve results and deliver consistently against agreed service levels.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Ensuring all sales growth is profitable and sustainable.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has a strong track record of delivering joint business plans, with excellent organisational and analytical skills. You will have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships at all levels, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate to achieve the best results. Experience of working in a trading environment is essential.
