We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an IT Business Analyst to join our growing IT team with a focus on Supply Chain and Business Development at Card Factory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for utilising their skills in effective prioritisation, eliciting requirements, and producing necessary documentation to bridge the gap between the business, project, and development teams. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data and inputs ensuring robust and holistic analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead requirements engineering ensuring traceability and alignment back to the business' strategic goals and objectives.
- Build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across the business both inside and outside of projects at all levels, up to and including the c-level exec team.
- Mapping and modelling of business processes and architecture at varying levels for both current and future state using Microsoft Visio/other tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data and inputs ensuring robust and holistic analysis.
- Work with development and QA teams to define testing scenarios, use cases, and support manuals as well as conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) where required.
- Must be a self-starter who is not afraid to jump into projects and build their understanding 'on-the-go'.
- A BCS or IIBA business analysis certification is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain and/or Business Development processes ideally with experience in logistics, warehousing, wholesale, and EDI.
- Previous working experience as a Business Analyst.
- Demonstrable experience mapping and modelling business processes.
- Demonstrable knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
