Supply Chain Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our supply chain team as a Supply Chain Delivery Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of goods across our logistics network.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations and be able to manage complex transportation schedules to meet customer demands. They will also be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all transport legislation and collaborating with internal departments to drive business success.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage transportation schedules to guarantee timely deliveries and adapt to operational challenges as they arise.
  • Supervise a team of drivers and transport operatives, providing leadership, guidance, and support to achieve performance targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and briefings to promote development and adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and alignment across operations.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the logistics industry.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to inspire and engage your team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A flexible approach to working patterns to meet the needs of the operation.

Estimated Salary Range: 32,000 - 36,000 pounds per annum.
