We are seeking an experienced Materials Buyer to join our team at P3CL in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will source, negotiate, and purchase materials required for the organization's operations, using strong analytical skills, building relationships with suppliers, and market trend understanding to ensure optimal pricing and quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify suppliers for required materials, considering price, quality, availability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Analyse inventory levels, usage patterns, and demand forecasts to optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during the procurement process.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide a monthly report of purchasing activities.
Project Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements.

  • Provide a project report, including overspend/savings analysis.

  • Procurement experience.
