Job Opportunity: Procurement Training Manager

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Training Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering training programs for public sector customers and suppliers.

About the Role:

  • Develop and facilitate training programs to ensure high-quality learning experiences for procurement specialists.
  • Oversee procurement activities and identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and identify procurement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and practices.
  • Ensure value for money in all procurement activities.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £48,000 - £54,000 + excellent benefits.

About You:

  • A proven track record as a procurement professional with experience in training best practices.
  • Full member or studying towards a membership of CIPS or equivalent professional institute.
  • Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of procurement processes and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and implement effective procurement strategies.
