Undisclosed is seeking an experienced Senior Property Development Manager to drive property projects in Wakefield, enhancing the Council's built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Property Projects: Manage the delivery of property-related capital projects and programmes, aligning project outcomes with client needs.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and manage property work programmes to ensure successful delivery, balancing competing demands and delivering within set timescales and budgets.
  3. Estate Strategy Implementation: Lead the implementation of the Council's Estate Strategy and asset management plans, ensuring property solutions align with the Council's long-term strategic goals.
  4. Commercial and Financial Management: Support the Senior Property Business Partner in managing third-party property professional services contracts, ensuring alignment with the Council's commercial and financial objectives.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of the Council's built environment, driving property projects in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Property and Estate Management experience, strong leadership and programme management skills, and in-depth knowledge of Council operations.
