The Educators Wales is the independent, professional regulator for the education workforce in Wales.

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy and Strategy Coordinator to join our team responsible for leading the EWC's policy, planning, and compliance work. The ideal candidate will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of key developments within the education sector, undertake research, collate information, and assist in developing and drafting papers and policy documents such as good practice guides for registrants.

This role will also assist in preparing and monitoring the EWC's internal planning processes in support of its strategic, operational, and equality objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  2. Experience in developing and maintaining administrative processes, and organizing and facilitating meetings
  3. Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  4. Ability to collate diverse information and data
  5. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential to the post

The salary for this position is estimated at around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Employee benefits include access to the Civil Service Pension Scheme, hybrid working, flexi-time, and 31 days annual leave (excluding 10 bank holidays and privilege days).
