Key Responsibilities:

As a Major Incident Manager at Tata Consultancy Services, you will be responsible for leading the response to major incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating with stakeholders, and coordinating with vendors to resolve issues.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

This role requires ITIL certification, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a 24/7 shift model. You should be able to interact with multiple stakeholders, take decisions in a hostile environment, and drive incident resolution through support engagement and coordination. Additionally, you should be able to document and communicate incident status, impact, and actions to stakeholders and senior leadership.

About the Role:

This is a critical role that ensures the availability, stability, and reliability of business applications serving the global payment industry. As a Major Incident Manager, you will be responsible for sending notifications and updates to stakeholders, liaising with business representatives, and ensuring proper closure of major incidents in the customer ITSM system. You will also be responsible for providing periodic updates to customer IT and business stakeholders, collaborating with vendors, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
