Administrative Services Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of clerical and administrative services within the Neurodevelopment and LD services in the West area.
Key duties include:
- Recruitment and selection of administrative and clerical staff
- Maintenance of accurate records of staff sickness and management of sickness absence in accordance with Health Board policies
- Quality control for the production of information and development of administrative procedures
- Management of waiting lists within the specialty in line with the Health Board's waiting list policies and Welsh Government guidance
- Assistance with the management of financial resources within the Children & Young People's Division
- Monitoring of procurement of goods and ordering of supplies on Oracle System
- Regular reporting on the performance of the service, identifying trends and outcomes and proposed actions to improve performance

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:
- Extensive experience of staff management
- Previous experience of managing financial resources
- Sound knowledge of IT systems, including WPAS, PIMS and Myrddin
- Knowledge of waiting list management
- Previous experience in producing written reports
- Previous NHS experience
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to demonstrate:

- Ability to solve problems and work to deadlines
- Ability to speak Welsh
