This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive environment with a large secondary school in Caterham, Surrey.

About the Job

We need a highly skilled individual to lead in the absence of Class Teachers and plan, prepare, and deliver assigned teaching programmes. Experience of working with SEN pupils and relevant qualifications are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Leading classes in the absence of teachers.
  • Planning and delivering teaching programmes for small groups and classes.
  • Supporting pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development, and spiritual well-being.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • The Higher Level Teaching Assistant Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • GCSE pass above C grade 4 in English and Maths.
