Job Overview

Blackstone Recruitment Limited seeks a Primary Teaching Professional with expertise in special needs to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching secondary age in a primary manner and possess relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with ASD, SEMH and PDA profile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will maintain awareness of current issues in the field of autism and contribute to the review of Statements and EHC plans, PEP and LAC reviews.
  • They will also monitor, assess, review and report on the progress and work of students to parents, team members, senior staff, examination and funding bodies.
  • Maintaining and using short-, medium- and long-term plans in delivering the curriculum is a key aspect of this role.

Requirements:

  • A PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is necessary.
  • Experience in Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures is essential.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment is also required.

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary range is £33,075 - £50,471 per year.
