Autism Teaching Professional

We are seeking an experienced Autism Teaching Professional to join our team in Surrey. As a specialist in autism education, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students with difficulties with communication and social interaction.
Job Description:
- Duties will include maintaining and using short-, medium-, and long-term plans in delivering the curriculum.
- You will also be responsible for monitoring, assessing, reviewing, and reporting on the progress and work of students to parents, team members, senior staff, examination, and funding bodies.
- Additionally, you will contribute to the review of Statements and EHC plans, PEP, and LAC reviews.
Requirements:
- A PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
- Experience of teaching secondary age in a primary manner is desirable.
- Relevant knowledge and experience of pupils with ASD, SEMH, and PDA profile are essential.
- Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures is necessary.
Salaries and Benefits:
- The salary range is £33,075 - £50,471 per year.
