We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate or Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school's teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality support. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to support young people in reaching their full potential and be motivated by delivering specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning, development and language acquisition.

About the Job:

  • Support a small class of 7-10 students
  • Deliver interventions to children with speech, language and communicational needs
  • Work alongside qualified Speech and Language Therapists, Teachers, and other professionals

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required, but a genuine interest in working with children with SEN is essential
  • Able to build robust and effective relationships with students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
