About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Graduate Support Worker to join our Academics Ltd team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist or Graduate to gain hands-on experience in supporting children with SEN, while developing valuable skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN in a small class setting
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to deliver specific interventions
- Assisting with behaviour and pastoral support
- Building robust and effective relationships with students
- Participating in forward planning with therapists
- Ensuring safeguarding of students, in line with procedures
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Caring and compassionate attitude towards children with SEN
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
What We Offer:
Competitive daily rate of £80-£85 per day, paid on a PAYE basis, with term-time only working hours from Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm). Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD opportunities, ensuring the safeguarding of all students.
