**About the Role**: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate or Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience working with children with Severe, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to support young people in reaching their full potential and be motivated by delivering specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning, development and language acquisition. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school's teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality support.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students
- Provide behaviour and pastoral support
- Take an active role in forward planning with therapists
- Build robust and effective relationships with students
