About the Role
As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of hundreds of people every day. You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of pharmacists and supporting them in delivering exceptional patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and Private services to customers.
- Provide healthcare advice and support to customers, including those at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing colleagues.
- Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to ensure seamless patient care.
- Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
Requirements
- Pharmacy Degree.
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- DBS check (organised by us) before employment.
