We are seeking experienced Senior, Principal, and Chief Geotechnical Engineers to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a leading design, engineering, and project management consultancy, we offer a unique opportunity to work on high-profile geotechnical projects and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals with strong technical credentials and a focus on advanced geotechnical analysis and offshore geotechnics. The successful candidate will have experience in leading offshore design, including offshore foundation design, driveability, cable burial trench ability, and deep-water anchoring. They will also have a detailed understanding of advanced constitutive soil models, parameter selection, soil-structure interaction, and experience with numerical modeling software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex geotechnical projects with minimal supervision
  • Work in a technical review function
  • Support AtkinsRéalis colleagues to increase their understanding of advanced geotechnical principles and offshore geotechnics
  • Hold a pivotal role in both the Offshore Geotechnics and Numerical Modeling Technical Disciplines

Requirements

  • Strong academic background with a relevant degree and ideally an MSc or PhD in a relevant subject
  • Proven geotechnical analysis and design experience, with experience in the Offshore sector
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work
  • A willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas
  • Working towards or holding Chartered status
  • A valid UK driving licence
