About the Role

As a Senior Carer at a residential care home, you will be responsible for leading a team of care staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to make informed decisions, and a passion for providing individualised care and support.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual who is committed to delivering exceptional care and has a proven track record of team leadership. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training and development opportunities, with many of our Senior Carers progressing into management roles or specialist positions within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of care staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and review resident care plans and risk assessments
  • Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams, and family members as required

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Proven experience in a residential care setting
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to make informed decisions
