About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Adviser/Caseworker to join our Corporate Centre Group (CCG) within the People and Capability Team at HM Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice to managers and staff on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practice.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, including reviewing and updating existing policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, using evidence and personal judgement to make accurate and expert decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Policy Team to maintain and update checklists, process maps, and desk notes for main policies.

About You

The successful candidate will have a strong background in HR casework, policy development, and employee relations, with experience of dealing with complex and sensitive cases. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different stakeholders.
